Sex & Nudity

  • When we watched this as kids (during the original run), nudity was apparently edited out. I discovered the nudity when I introduced my 7-year-old son to the series, and subsequently had to pre-screen all episodes.
  • The following episodes show nudity (female backside and breasts), mostly in shower scenes: 4, 38, 39, 43, 46, 48, 51, 72 and 80. Netflix copy of episode 44 was defective, so no idea on that one. Episode 15 has a topless pin-up wall poster in on screen briefly
  • The original television version doesn't have any nudity.

Violence & Gore

  • Mild animated violence.
  • There are scenes of combat and unlike contemporary American animated series like G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero, there are obviously deadly consequences to the fighting, which includes major characters being killed off, populated cities are devastated and Planet Earth itself is devastated in an orbital bombardment that kills billions.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • None.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Some scenes could be intense.
