Glenda Jackson played a character who is a writer of children's books. Author Russell Hoban has written several books for children and young adults such as "Letitia Rabbit's String Song", "The Story of Hester Mouse: Who Became a Writer" and one which has been made into a full length animated movie, The Mouse and His Child (1977). Also, made-for-television and written by Hoban, was Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas (1977).
