During WWII, two members of the Dutch resistance share the same goal but use very different methods to reach it. David Blumberg is a 'Schindler' like character considered by some as a traitor, by others as a hero. Peter van Dijk uses more terrorist ways to resist the German presence in the Netherlands.Written by
Today it's memorial day, and right now it's on TV. My mother called me that I HAD to watch this one because what the movie is partly about my grandfather (her father) was there during the resistance. (he was apparently there during the raid at the register ---> he was leader of a group called Nico Muller and a Sniper) So that's cool!!! My grandfather has died a few years ago but I'm glad that he was such a hero when he was young!!! Every year on the fourth of May I always remember him. And the movie so far seems like the typical kind of dutch war movies, with all the very well known great actors, And they're always good.
