Released just after Thanksgiving, the film had a dismal run at the box office and barely made over $250,000 dollars. However, it found a second life as a late-night staple on HBO, which was in the process of becoming a force in home cable. Cute fun movie about a night out in the life of several clubkids. I saw this a long time ago but liked it. I would actually like to see it again if I could only find it.
There is nothing remarkable here, just a good fun movie. a bunch of girls are going out on the town and all the things that go wrong(and right). It captures the time period and "night out at the club" feeling beautifully, and the cast is pretty good. Look for Daphne Zunniga of Melrose fame, she has a major role and is quite good, quite an underated actress. The movie's target audience is clealy clubkids but since I used to be one as was the guy I watched this with, I had no problems with that. It makes for many laughs, some pretty funny situations and an entertaining overall view. My vote is 7. 5 out of 10.
