Storyline

Andy Barclay has been placed in a foster home after the tragic events of the first film, since his mother was committed. In an attempt to save their reputation, the manufacturers of Chucky reconstruct the killer doll, to prove to the public that nothing was wrong with it in the first place. In doing so, they also bring the soul of serial killer Charles Lee Ray back to life. As Chucky tries to locate Andy, the body count rises. Will Andy be able to escape, or will Chucky succeed in possessing his body? Written by Phil Fernando

Trivia

All of Brad Dourif's voice-over work for Chucky was recorded in advance so they could match up Chucky's mouth with the words. Because of this, Dourif rarely appeared on set. Instead, recordings of his voice would be played back for Alex Vincent to go by. See more »

Fair sequel, that has a great climax
18 January 1999 | by MovieFan983See all my reviews

This movie wasn't bad. It was somewhat scary, and stylish. The ending was good though. 6 out of 10. Rated R for strong horror violence and language.
