Alternate Versions

When HBO reran the special on July 28, 1991, it was an entirely different edit of the exact same concert featuring alternate camera angles galore. Additionally, the end credits were changed to scrolling credits which roll over a black screen, as opposed to the original 1990 broadcast, which featured static credits imposed over a fireworks show. Madonna's best tour
8 October 1999 | by DBT3781See all my reviews

This tour was arguably Madonna's best stage performance. Anybody who was able to attend one of the shows during the four months of 1990 that Madonna toured is LUCKY!!! If you're like Me who was at least able to see the video, well, you see how artistically inclined Madonna is. Many people rejected the show saying it was a sex circus, but it all meant something. Madonna, without the support of anyone, was out to be heard, to make a statement, to express herself. And that she did - at ANY expense. This show captures Madonna's views on racism, religion, sex, and more in 18 earth-shaking performances. If you get a chance and FIND IT, watch this concert video. The documentary of the tour is available as TRUTH OR DARE.
