He's returned to the town that murdered his family. He's not looking for an apology. He's looking for revenge.

When he was a kid, he watched his family murdered by a group of rednecks. Now, years later, he's returned to the town where it happened. Craving retribution for the crime, The Kid is here to settle a score. A debt long overdue. Nothing would bring his parents back to life, but he would be damned if he's going to let the perps responsible for the crime live. C Thomas Howell plays the role of The Kid ( I have to admit, he's kind of cute in this one.) He's after a little vigilante justice, and everything works in his favor. The people responsible are still around. No egg hunt here. They don't recognize him, since he's older. He recognizes them, because he remembers their faces. The only way they know who he is, is by showing them the necklace. By then, its too late, The Kid has marked you for death, and there is no escaping his wrath. Kid gets the most brutal death out of the way first, a disturbing but brilliant scene where a man is handcuffed to a chair, and a roach spray saturated tennis ball is forced into his mouth. The scene seems to last awhile, only panning away a few times, and when its done, we get the hint that The Kid is not torquing around here. He is absolutely screaming for vengeance, and the reckoning day has arrived for them all. This is an early 90's movie, the acting seems a bit dated, giving it a late 80's feel to it all. It shouldn't be a problem for most viewers. An independent film from IRC ( Intercontinental Releasing Corporation, now non existant), this is a well made vigilante thriller for those who like seeing bad guys get what they deserve. Fun and entertaining, but boasts a few problems that just cannot be overlooked, I won't need to point any of them out, you will see for yourself, and know exactly what I'm talking about for yourself. I recommend Kid for a great rental, and for fans of Howell and his earlier work. I give this classic 6 out of 10 stars.
