The Hat Squad (1992–1993)
- Summaries (2)
A cop and his wife adopt three young boys whose parents were cops and/or killed in the line of duty. The three boys became The Hat Squad, part of the police department that tries to track down violent offenders while still wanting to avenge their parents deaths.
Policeman Mike Ragland over the years has come into contact with boys whose parents were victims of crime, and when he learned that they had no one who will take them in, he and his wife, Kitty became their foster parents. And growing up, he told them the story of the legendary police unit known as "The Hat Squad". When the boys grew up, they became policemen and under Ragland, they decided to dress up like "The Hat Squad" and target career crminals. They are Buddy, who was just a baby when his father died, Rafael, who was so traumatized by his parents death that he doesn't carry a firearm and uses all sorts of methods to subdue a criminal, and Matty, who is also studying to be a lawyer.
