Trivia

The series was originally based upon the book of the same name by Robin Klein (published in 1985). Whilst the first half of the series remained mostly faithful to the book, by the second half the writers began to veer off and develop their own original story ideas and elements. Robin Klein would end up incorporating these new plot-lines in her own book sequel "Turn Right for Zyrgon" in 1994. See more »

I cannot rate this highly enough! It's a must for children and adults alike. The books are just as good as the show.
