Storyline

Big Ones You Can Look At is a VHS and Laserdisc featuring music videos by the American hard rock band Aerosmith. It was released on November 4, 1994. In addition, there are outtakes and band interviews. Running time is 100 minutes. The suggestive title comes from - and is a companion to - the 1994 compilation album Big Ones. A DVD release was released in Brazil with Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo and 5.1 Surround sound tracks and quality better than the VHS and Laserdisc releases. Some scenes from the Pump era were culled from the band's previous video compilation The Making of Pump. Along with the band members, various individuals make cameo appearances during the outtakes and making-of segments, including Marty Callner, John Kalodner, and Hank Azaria. The behind the scenes segment for "Eat The Rich" includes the band's collaboration with Melvin Liufau, Wesey Mamea, Liainaiala Tagaloa, Mapuhi T. Tekurio, and Aladd Alationa Teofilo, playing the log drums. Among the notable actors appearing ... Written by Peter-Patrick76 (peter-patrick@mail.com)

some really excellent videos here
16 August 2007 | by didi-5See all my reviews

You know, I had forgotten what an excellent video 'Living on the Edge' was ... but I did remember 'Angel', twenty years after I last saw it and developed a huge crush on Steven Tyler in that trenchcoat. It is still a really good video - and yes, I still have that crush! Anyway, this is a really good promo collection including videos made between 1987 and 1994 (so it misses out their huge hit for 'Armageddon'), and showcases, with its 'making of' segments in-between, what a lot of fun the band are when not in 'showtime'.

Amongst the other excellent titles on here are 'Crazy', 'Cryin', 'Amazing', 'Love in an Elevator', and 'Rag Doll'. It is good to see both the band in action and the different stories and scenarios set up to support their songs.

Now, when will we see another collection?
