Steven Seagal Walks Out of Interview After Being Asked About Rape Accusation — Watch
It’s been exactly one year since the first wave of allegations against Harvey Weinstein were published, ushering in an era that has seen countless other men accused of sexual misconduct. Many of them have been fired, exiled, or ostracized as a result, but one figure whose career seems to have been relatively unaffected by the #MeToo and Time’s Up movements is Steven Seagal. That may be at least in part because he’s already considerably less prominent than he was in his heyday, but the fact remains that the actor has been accused of sexual harassment and rape by several women.

After being asked about those allegations during a BBC Newsnight interview with Kristy Wark, Seagal promptly exited.

“You obviously spend a lot of time in Russia, you spend a lot of time in America, you’re making films and so forth. In terms of your life in America,

Steven Seagal Walks Out Mid-Interview After Question About Sexual Assault Accusations (Video)
Steven Seagal walked out of a televised BBC interview Thursday after being asked about a flurry of sexual misconduct accusations leveled against him in recent months.

The BBC interview was cut short after the British network’s host Kirsty Wark asked Seagal: “In terms of your life in America, you’ve been very much caught up in allegations of sexual harassment. You had a rape allegation against you and I wonder how you deal with all that.”

Before she could even finish her question, Seagal pulled his earpiece out, stood up and left the set. An offscreen technician can be heard offering to help “take the microphone off you.”

Kevin Spacey, Steven Seagal And Anthony Anderson Escape Sex Crimes Charges

The Los Angeles District Attorney’s Hollywood sex crimes task force has announced today that they’ll not be charging Kevin Spacey, Steven Seagal or Anthony Anderson with sexual assault. Working in the actors’ favor was that the statute of limitations had expired in many of the accusations, which dated back to the mid-1990s. In addition, the Da was having trouble convincing the accusers to co-operate with police and testify at trial.

While black(ish) star Anderson might be able to breathe a sigh of relief, Spacey and Seagal aren’t out of the woods just yet. Both men are still facing investigation by the task force for separate alleged cases of sexual assault that are currently being reviewed to see if they’ll stand up in court.

The particular allegation against Spacey that will not be pursued related to an adult man who accused the actor of sexually

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office announced on Tuesday that it has declined to press sexual assault charges against Steven Seagal.

Steven Seagal Is Under Investigation for Allegedly Raping Teen Girl

Steven Seagal Is Under Investigation for Allegedly Raping Teen Girl
The Los Angeles police department has revealed that Steven Seagal is currently under investigation for sexual assault. The news comes after Jenny McCarthy, Julianna Margulies, Portia de Rossi, and other women came forward to share their experiences of sexual misconduct with the Under Siege actor in November of 2017. All of the accusations that were brought up by the aforementioned women happened over 10 years ago, which makes them past the statute of limitations, but it appears that Seagal may have been involved in an incident of sexual assault within the last 10 years.

Two women have reportedly accused Steven Seagal of sexual misconduct, with one of the women, a Mormon claiming she was raped by Seagal as a teenager back in 1993. Regina Simons, now 43, says that she filmed scenes with the actor for the 1994 movie On Deadly Ground and when filming wrapped, he invited her to a party at his home. When Simons arrived,

”Contract to Kill’ Trailer: Steven Seagal Is Still Trying That Action Hero Thing
One of the best film books I’ve ever read is Vern’s Seagalogy, which takes an astonishing and in-depth look at the films of actor/martial artist/musician/energy drink impresario/Vladamir Putin stooge Steven Seagal. Although Seagal has only directed one film (1994’s fascinating trainwreck On Deadly Ground), the book argues that his personal perspective, life philosophies, and beliefs run […]

Films people agreed to make to get their dream projects made

Simon Brew Oct 7, 2016

From Demolition Man and James Bond through to Speed 2 and Steven Seagal: the movies filmmakers took on to get other projects made.

One for the studio, one for yourself? That’s sometimes been the case when it comes to making movies, and we suspect – under the surface – it happens more than we’re ever told. However, every now and then, it becomes clear that someone has signed up for a movie, with getting the film they really, really want to make as the hidden reason. Such as in these cases…

Nigel Hawthorne: Demolition Man

The late, great Nigel Hawthorne wasn't much of a fan of the much-liked Sylvester Stallone-Wesley Snipes showdown, Demolition Man. In his autobiography Straight Face, Hawthorne called the experience of making the film "miserable", and wasn't impressed with the time lost on set waiting around for Stallone and Snipes.

Celebrating the B-movie performances of Michael Caine

facebook

From killer bees to Steven Seagal, Michael Caine's seen it all. We celebrate five hilarious performances in five very bad B-movies...

"If there is one thing worse than being offered bad scripts it's being offered none at all," Michael Caine once noted - an admission that might explain some of the roles he's taken on over his long and often wonderful career.

Michael Caine may have attained national treasure status now, but from the late 70s to the middle of the 90s, classic roles like Dr Frank Bryant in Educating Rita and Scrooge The Muppet Christmas Carol were interspersed with some - shall we say - less acclaimed movies. Yet even when the production values were awful, the script stank and the films flopped, Michael Caine's performances often remained fascinating. This isn't to say he was necessarily putting his heart and soul into them -
