  • Sexual banter and dialogue.
  • Nothing worse than any other Tarantino flick.
  • A man gets raped (no nudity), but another man saves him. Not graphic due to how the shot is framed.

  • Butch is seen waist up when gets out of the shower, but frontal nudity is shown for a split second.

  • Mia snorts heroin mistaking it for cocaine, and blood streams down her nostril for a few seconds. She later gets a large shot of adrenaline.
  • Butch intentionally drives into Marsellus Wallace; the scene ends with a violent car crash. We see butches face covered in blood and blood gets on his shirt. Butch is covered in blood for the rest of the movie.
  • A man chases another and shoots at him several times (but misses); he accidentally shoots an innocent woman showing her bullet wound for less than a second. The pursued man has much blood on his face.
  • A man is whipped in the face with the butt of a shotgun.
  • A man is shot in the groin with a shotgun, with chunks of blood briefly visible, but is then on the floor screaming in pain. It is implied that Marcellus is going to brutally torture the man for raping him. We don't see anything.
  • A man is shot in the face accidentally (and very suddenly. His actual face is not seen, but you can see blood spray against a window. Vincent and Jules are covered in blood. They are then forced to clean up the car, the whole car is basically drenched in blood. (The scene is an example of the black comedy elements of the film.)
  • A man walks out of a bathroom and shoots Vincent and Jules five times, nothing happens, they then shoot him twice, two big bullet holes form in his chest.
  • A man is sliced across the chest with a large katana, a large streak of blood is visible, he is then killed by being stabbed in the chest.

  • Some slurs for Koreans, Vietnamese, and Mexicans are heard in the beginning.
  • Basically every character swears at one point or another.

  • A man injects heroin. We see the needle go in.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Some scenes in this movie are very disturbing
  • The rape scene, whilst being very short, could be considered disturbing.
  • Pulp Fiction very much has the tone of a black comedy, and many may therefore not be all that disturbed by its violence.
