Wow. This was one crappy movie if I've ever seen one. Lousy plot was the culprit for this bad B-movie. Anybody who's read the plot summary, "Teenager's brain gets stolen by mad scientist, brain is placed in mechanical dinosaur" should pretty much be able to figure out for themselves that it isn't worth renting. How this received the rating it did boggles me, it is packed with profanity, buckets of blood and gore, and even a bit of sex. I especially enjoyed the cheezed up SFX and editing. The acting was, well, up to par as far as B-movies go, Denise Richards is fun to watch, but the best actor is probably the foam-rubber dino. There was no helping this one, the script was just plain sad. Well, all in all, it's not worth shelling out four bucks to rent. But hey, if it's 3:00 AM and it's on the USA network, you might as well watch. I did, after all.
