In a village of the French Juras, Daniel, 15, and Marie, 14, live in the shadow of their brutal, domineering father, who can only express his love through violence. When their mother dies, the two inseparable children flee into the forest pursued by their father.
Siblings, Daniel, 15, and Marie, 14 are terrorized by their tyrannical father Berry and that has not improved since their mother (Roüan) became ill. Father's motto is: weak people have problems, strong ones find a solution. Their father is cheating their mother openly with the much younger Nadia. He refuses to allow the mother to be admitted to the hospital, because no one gets sick in his family. However, if she gets an attack in a restaurant, he can not prevent hospitalization. He kidnaps her, but on his homecoming she dies in his arms. For Marie and Daniel, their father killed their mother and they decided to run away from home. But their father is chasing them.
