Rena, an outspoken folk singer from Corfu, lives in Athens with her brother Stratos, while her cousin, Pepita di Corfu, with whom she looks like two drops of water, is a big vendetta of the light song and stays in Rome with her fiancé Antonio. Shipowner Lambros Fokas invites in his arrival Pepita, which he met in Napoli several years ago - but she is unable to come. A crafty agent presents Rena in place of Pepita. Originally the trick is successful and Fokas is fascinated by the Pepita-Rena. Combine and impersonation are revealed when Pepita arrives in Greece for vacation. Fokas is furious but Pepita calms him.
