Storyline

Mild-and-meek Casper, the Friendly Ghost, is depressed and glum because people will have nothing to do with him despite the fact that he has read "How To Win Friends, and Influence People" from cover-to-cover. This is especially true on his favorite holiday, Halloween, but as soon as all the children and grown-ups realize he is a real ghost, they run away. But he perks up when he meets a cute girl ghost at a barn dance. Written by Les Adams <longhorn1939@suddenlink.net>

Casper on Halloween
25 January 2010 | by ja_kitty_71See all my reviews

Here is another Halloween cartoon I really enjoy after watching it. This short also stars Casper the Friendly Ghost, one of my favorite cartoon characters.

In this short, Casper wanted to have fun on Halloween by making friends rather then scaring people like other the ghosts on Halloween. He tried going trick-or-treating with the other kids. But his ghostly transparency gave him away and everyone runs away from him. Upon coming to a Halloween costume party at a barn, Casper coats himself in white wash to hide his transparency, and proceeds to enter the party incognito. Inside, he meets a little girl named Lou, who instantly took a shine to him. But will it lasted? well just watch and see, folks.

So overall, I love this cartoon! It's a classic and a real heart warmer for Halloween time.
