The IMDb shows this as having been released on May 15, 1945. Other sources indicate it as exactly one year later. It could be either. It's a bit old-fashioned for Terrytoons in 1936, but with the influx of talent from newly defunct Van Beuren, changes were afoot, executed erratically.
In any case, this is one Terry's variations of "The Ugly Duckling". All of Farmer Al Falfa's pigs have grown fat on spaghetti, save the eponymous Runt. However, when a wholesale butcher steals all the other pigs, it's up to the Runt to alert Al and help save the others.
The competent cartoon is eked out with choral singing of "Happy Little Pigs Are We" and well executed gags. However, it's just like twenty other Terrytoons, except that here it's pigs.
