In the other side of the fence, she meets Szarany (Michael Rapaport), a Jewish soldier arrested and living in the ghetto. She offers to help him first through the delivery of letters to members of the resistance, and then digging a hole beneath a brewery to reach the ghetto. They are successful and many Jews, together with her family, escape to Czechoslovakia.
Second Story: `We Are Circus'
