Low grade actioner, with Smith back on track!
29 March 1999 | by Serpent-5See all my reviews

With Robert Z'dar and William Smith top line in this film, you know what you are getting. Two villian actors supporting a bunch of unknowns in a bottom of the barrel action films. Well, I checked this film out and I was suprised that William Smith was in the whole film! Smith is a good actor, but is type casted in too many "B" movies, and always seems to be in low budget films lately (top billed, but hardly appears). But this film, he seems to be in most of the film as a mafia bad guy (with a thick accent), who gets robbed by bunch of nighclub owners. Ending is terrible, and outrageous bad guy Z'dar disappears too soon. If you are looking for entertainment, this film isn't it. If you are looking for a standard low budget entry that'll put you to sleep while you are drink your six pack of beer, this is the "no brain" film you are looking for. It's good to see Smith/Z'dar team up after SHADOW OF THE DRAGON.
