At the opening of the film we become aware that some specialized clinics in the world bring intimate sexual tendencies out of the depths of the human being for the purpose of liberation from the bourgeois moral taboos. These therapeutic institutions take the euphemistic name of "orchid houses", which is an acrostic to indicate their "scientific" purpose. The film illustrates the one in Venice: the facts presented during one of the last Venetian carnivals are presented. Some gentlemen are very reluctant to use the pools of the Venetian house of the orchids, falling naively in the business of a pseudo-psychiatrist. The three stories intertwine each other. 3 sexually unsatisfied women willing to risk up their reputation in order to find what they really want. They decide to take advantage one of the thousands opportunities offered by this mysterious club for the dreams that have during the day - a reality so sensual and exciting as dangerous.Written by
Well worth my effort to understand idea behind this flick. Setting in Venice alone gives it some glamour, multiple hot chicks demonstrate goods, plot you have to read separately to understand and producer himself with non-standard approach.
His other excellent movie "Diversions" cannot be found in decent transfer either.
And this what I call real life conflicts.
