  • Well there have been many questions about his hat and why he's always wearing it. There is no complete explanation about why, but one thing we can be sure is that Edd does not want to be without his hat or else he feels "naked" meaning that he needs his hat to feel "clothed" in his own way. It is unknown if he is bald or he simply does not want to present his hair in public, however only Ed and Eddy knows how he looks like without his hat but no explanation from them is provided at all. • Plank is the object-friend to Johnny 2x4. For Johnny he believes that Plank is alive and communicates with him no matter what and always accompanied with him. Creator Danny Antonucci explained that the idea for Plank came from his childhood when he had a neighbor who used to take with him an object all the time. The same inspiration came from Charlie Brown with the character Linus and his blanket. Edit (Coming Soon)

  • It's simple, in order to avoid confusion of the pronunciation between the names of Ed and Edd himself everyone in town refer him with this special name to know who's who. Although his full real name is Eddward but it seems like he doesn't mind being called 'Double D' at all. Edit (Coming Soon)

  • Well, there is no specific answer to that but Rolf does mention at times his home country referring as: "The Old Country". Of course "The Old Country" is fictional in the show and it is unknown where it is located but possibilities are that it's somewhere in Europe since much of where Rolf comes from is based on European cultures.

For those who wonder about it's location creator Danny Antonucci explained: Yeah, I purposely made Rolf with a non-nationality, especially after what happened with Lupo (from Lupo the Butcher, a short by Antonucci) when we were accused of painting Italians in a bad light. But Rolf is me, take his proverbs - my family were always coming out with the strange proverbial stuff that only made sense to them and other family members. His vocabulary is always interesting, I've actually browsed through the dictionary sometimes looking for words he might use, we came in for some flak with 'jujubes' though, people were asking what on earth that meant, but its there, you know what they are right? Leaving Rolf with no set nationality means he's able to adopt all sorts of quirks he couldn't get away with if we'd stuck a label on him. Its the same with Peach Creek Estates, its not anywhere specific, its just one of those countless suburban development regions. Edit (Coming Soon)

  • It was revealed in the episode "Every Which Way But Ed" when the Ed's get's lost in flashbacks and appear on a memory where they had one of their "scams" to sell "fake" ice creams which were made of bowling balls and bowling pins. Jimmy bought one, he took a chew and as a result it ruined his teeth. Edit (Coming Soon)

  • They are there, but in this show they are never shown in their physical form at all (like Eddy's big brother for example). Although in the episode "Mission Ed-possible" we can be sure that there really are adults when we see 2 arms, one for Eddy's father and the other Ed's mother. Edit (Coming Soon)

  • They live on a street called: Cul-de-Sac. It features a number of suburban detached homes, a playground, and a lane. While there is no specific name of the city or which country they live. Edit (Coming Soon)

  • It appears to be the most favorable and popular candy for the kids in the Cul-de-Sac. Edit (Coming Soon)

The FAQ items below may give away important plot points.

  • Eddy's brother is the big brother for Eddy himself whom Eddy always tell everyone how cool he is. In the show he is never shown in his physical form at all, but he appears for the first time and last time in "Ed, Edd 'n Eddy's Big Picture Show". In the movie it is shown that he works at an amusement park called Mondo A-Go Go. Normally the show wouldn't have new characters to show up especially adults, but in the movie creator Danny Antonucci made the exception to present Eddy's brother for the first time. In the movie it is shown that everything that Eddy told everyone about his brother was a lie and Eddy's brother being mean and that Eddy made up stories about is brother to get respect from the other cul-de-sac kids. The name of Eddy's brother has never been revealed in the show and neither in the movie, however in an interview with Danny Antonucci he told that Eddy's Brother's name is "Matthew".
