"Death and commerce", that could have been the theme of this black comedy. Could be that is, as it is never clear what the makers had in mind with this lucky dip of half-finished ideas. One gets the impression that the makers never were in full control of their own surreal whims of which there are too much: an undertaker's business called "Deadline", a psychiatric patient, a serial killer, a boy whose mother is always absent etc. etc. The director is visibly in trouble in making this deathly film into a unity. A film that should have died a gentle death itself.
