Storyline

Intro to CherFitness: A New Attitude is the first fitness video released by singer/actress Cher. She had been featured in many gym, and fitness commercials in the 1980's, and her music videos, along with stage and television appearances made the public interested in her youthful body, as she was in her mid-forties. This led to the opportunity to a fitness video. Video content: After an introduction from Cher, the workout programme is divided into three modular sections, starting with a 38 minute "Step Workout". This is followed by a 10 minute workout for "Healthy Back and Abdominals", concluding with 32 minutes working on "Hips, Bottoms and Thighs". The workouts are done against a soundtrack, including hit singles by various artists, as well as Cher's own "Love and Understanding", released that same year. Cher states that this is her own personal workout programme, which was designed by her personal trainers, and which was what she performed every day. This was unlike the two ... A Great Home Fitness Workout

Although you may struggle with the idea of Cher working out in fishnets and with the plethora of Cher tunes, overall this is a reasonably challenging Step workout. I've used this on and off over the years to boost my fitness and it still provides a challenge on some level. So don't be put off by the early 90s hair and costumes. The addition of an abs workout and a targeted hips,buns and thighs regime makes this video an overall winner. Believe me, the first time you try ongoing squats, your thighs will tell you about it the next day! With multiple levels of skill/fitness available within the workouts, it provides an all round workout for anyone willing to give it a try.
