Over the spring of 2000, sixteen average Americans (divided into two tribes which eventually merge into one) were sequestered on the deserted island of Pulau Tiga for 39 days. For their stay, they must learn to live as a tribe, although eventually, it is everyone for themselves. They compete in challenges for "luxuries" (a barbecue, a phone call home, etc.) and immunity. Every three days, the losers of the latter challenges must face tribal council, where they will account for their actions by voting one person off of the island. At the end of day 39, there will be only one survivor left who will leave the island with one million dollars. Based on the Swedish game show, "Operation Robinson."Written by

Frequent continuity errors. It's clear that many scenes were filmed hours or days apart and then edited together with =out consideration for whether or not they visually flowed together. See more »
The finale episode featured the million dollar winner walking through an airport and getting into their brand new car. This scene had to be filmed four different times, each with a member of the final four in order to keep the secret of who really won. See more »
Survivor:Amazon is the REASON why the Survivor Series isn't going anywhere.
I am a huge Survivor fan and will always be. I think Survivor is the best reality show and I think Mark Burnett is the master when it comes to making a good reality show. He and "his people" pick the PERFECT contestants (Note: I didn't say nicest)to be on his show.
I think this version of Survivor one of the best of the entire series, mostly because of the personalities of the castaways. Butch and Christy are my favorites, just because they seem like nice people, especially Butch. Christy's a nice girl and I would have loved to see her win the game, or at the very least get farther in the game than Jenna and Heidi (Who should have been voted out a long time ago). I think Jenna and Heidi have played the game terribly. I mean, to them, they are basically on vacation. Heidi and Jenna treat a lot of the fellow castaways terribly, mainly Christy, then when Christy is in a position of power, they start talking to her. I hope they get kicked out soon.
The villan of this show is Rob. No question about it. He's smart in a Richard Hatch kind of way and he's a snake. I think at this point, Matthew looks the most likely to win, unlike the others except Butch, Matthew deserves to win. Never did he stab people in the back, or create conflict, instead Matthew flew under the radar, but not to the point without being noticed. Well, whoever wins the game, it really doesn't matter a whole lot because this show is so good and gets better with each episode. Can't wait for the next Survivor. Thanks for reading.
