A Rock and Roll Variety Show toured over the United States and briefly around the world for the Spring and Fall Months except for Malibu Beach for the summer and Big Bear Ski Resort for the winter. It featured popular music acts of the day, playing games and interviewing celebrities for 1 of these 5 Days A Week on ABC-TV USA.
Dick Clark was the host of this daily afternoon show, in the tradition of American Bandstand. Many top American and British acts appeared "on location". There were also dancers on the show. Otis Redding, The Four Seasons, The Association, The Zombies, Peter and Gordon,and The Everly Brothers were among the many acts that appeared. Regulars on the show were Paul Revere and The Raiders, Linda Scott and Steve Alamo who performed their own songs as well as hits of the day.
