Storyline

Secret Service agent Jerome Daggett was head of the Presidential Protection Detail's elite A-team, until he jumped in the wrong direction when an assassin opened fire on the President. After the humiliation in the news, he is subsequently demoted to the B-team, a dumping ground for loser agents charged with guarding the First Lady and her daughter, who treats him like a servant rather than the bodyguard/cop that he is. Grier and Burke, a potential comedy team
24 August 2001 | by coverme6See all my reviews

David Alan Grier of IN LIVING COLOR fame stars as the title character, a tough secret service agent who once worked for the President, but after a rather moronic mistake, gets downgraded down to protecting the First Lady (Delta Burke). She treats poor Dag like a brow-beaten butler instead of a bodyguard, and the fun starts there! Grier takes his role with stride, playing the understandably frustrated Dag who has to constantly put up with the First Lady's antics. Burke shines as well.
