Storyline

In the mid-22nd century, the Earth ship Enterprise is launched under the command of Captain Jonathan Archer. When the crew rescues an alien from a crashed spaceship, Earth gets its first look at the alien's race - the Klingons. Archer and his crew must walk a fine line as they attempt to communicate with the Klingon pilot, whose language is completely unknown, and whose homeworld wants him back. Is this the beginning of friendship...or interstellar war? Written by Brian Barjenbruch

Goofs

Star Trek has often been inconsistent regarding the ability to go to warp within a star system. Doctrine in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine says it can't be done. However in Star Trek the Original Series and the TOS movies, they routinely went to warp inside the solar system, most notably in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock. It is highly illogical that Kirk and Archer could routinely go to warp inside solar systems, and apparently the later presumably more advanced star ships could not. See more »

"Take her out Ensign, slow and steady"
12 April 2002 | by PhisocalSee all my reviews

I suppose you could say I am a Trekkie (I love Next Generation, Voyager and Enterprise) and when I first bought Broken Bow on video (I missed it on TV) I was overwhelmed by every thing good about it, it rocks. Ever since my dad got me into Star Trek, I've been watching it every day ever since, which probably explains why I love Enterprise. Every actor and actress perform on the mark (my favourite character has to be "Trip" for his humour and sarcasm). Trust me if you're a Trekkie you'll love this!!!
