Andrew is a real loner. He works as an illustrator at a news paper and his life is pretty okay. But he has one big problem. He is shy. Very shy. Especially with girls. Andrew moves to a small town way up north to isolate himself from the rest of the world. One day he runs into the lovely Sannah. She gets quite curious about this man, who is not like anyone she's ever met before. She soon finds out it's hard to get to know him, or even to get nearby him! Andrew is infatuated with Sannah and fantazises about her but believes there's no chance she will like him if she gets to know him, so he decides it's better they never meet for real... Tick Rock Tick Rock

...While front loading a film with high intensity fast-paced action sequences does not a film make, this film is sorely in need of a pulse. He likes her, she likes him, so what's the big deal? In Sweden, nothing is ever allowed to come easy, especially something as intimate and strange as romantic love. So the audience is treated to a series of near encounters and purposeful avoidances which, it would seem, would drag on infinitely were the filmmakers given the green light.

Highly recommended if you are curious what its like to try and meet Swedish people (esp. in Sweden). High mark for the actors, fumbling over words, darting eyes, staring at the floor, and biting lips.

Tedious, almost to the point of breaking.
