Trivia

Originally shot during 1987/88, the film was unfortunately caught up in the financial wranglings that followed the collapse of Empire Pictures. The movie has been shelved since that time, although it was screened once on 11 August 2012, at Chicago Flashback Weekend Horror Convention. Excluding that, the film has apparently never been shown. The best thing Charles Band ever directed
7 June 2017 | by quridleySee all my reviews

OK, so he's just copying Stuart Gordon and probably used his D.P. and crew to do it, but this is a very beautifully shot, atmospheric, well-acted and well-directed Lovecraft piece. Only a few moments were campy and cheesy. For the most part this is intense and I wish Band ALWAYS directed like this.
