Trivia

On the day of the big "piranha" scene Ryan Rossell told a production assistant to go pick up the fish from a local pet store. When the PA returned the piranha he brought back were the size a thumb. Panicked, Rossell called around to every pet store in the area before "Angeles R' Us" pet store saved the day. They also ended up using their pet store for the pet store scene with Blues Clues Donovan Patton. See more »

You Will Never Know What Will Happen Next!
29 October 2005 | by nyccondoSee all my reviews

I happened to have the chance to see the World Premiere of this film at the Hollywood Film Festival last weekend at the Arclight and it blew the audience away. What starts out as a romantic good-hearted movie quickly turns wilder and wilder to the point where everyone was on the edge of their seats. I never had a clue what was going to happen next and the story is so layered that it continuously keeps you guessing. There's a scene in this movie that had the audience going absolutely crazy and something I have never seen before in a movie. Trust me, you'll know what it is when you see it. It's "the scene" that everyone talks about.

The description in the program described the movie as film noir and Hitchcockian, I was skeptic as that's a lot to live up to, but to filmmakers credit they really came through with both. Solid acting, intense scenes, and a movie that will have you guessing until the very end. Try to catch this movie if you can - it's one that stays in your head for a long time.
