Storyline

Two brothers take to Stockers Wood of a Saturday afternoon, to build a den and do some birdwatching. Their day takes a surprising turn when a car is dumped in the woods. Curious, David investigates the boot of the car. What he finds is a suitcase of clothes and identification. Soon afterwards, the men on the identification appear to pick up the car, and discover the two boys have been spying on them. The two men are prison escapees, who are keen to get away and beat the police roadblocks. They decide to use the boys to convey the impression they are all related and go through the roadblocks. Be prepared for a charming 80's TV film that will warm your heart.

A Rare gem well worth seeking out
30 August 2005 | by move-7See all my reviews

I'l keep this review short and sweet. This movie involves a fugitive and a boy. Its one of those movies that would have really appealed to the young audience of the 1980's. And it would also have had an appeal to adults too. David Jackson plays the larger than life part of an on the run criminal called Donny The Bull. I saw this film years ago and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I know that if you like a bit of action and something that appeals to a younger side in yourself then this is the film for you. I'm only going on memory here , but this film is something that has stuck with me for a very long time. I hope one day that I can track it down. It will be worth the effort.
