Jeweller: [holding a diamond ring] Magnificent, aren't they? "God's tears".
Matthew: Yeah. It's beautiful. So are the others, I... I guess I just have to make the right decision.

I was surprised
5 January 2005 | by mbliss1-1See all my reviews

I really liked this movie! It starts a bit slow and confusing, but if you hang in for a little bit, you will be hooked. It will answer all your questions in the end and has some great twists in the story line. The only thing that got to me a little was how sickly Josh Hartnett looked in a few scenes. I thought the characters where good and love the way all four main characters are inter-twined in personal ways with out really knowing about each others involvement. Matthew Lilliard is always fun to watch and I really liked Rose Byrne as Alex. I am seeing more of her in other movies these days,(Troy) and have to say I am becoming a fan. All in all, if you like a movie that makes you have to think, and try and figure out what the heck is going on here? Then Wicker Park is a good movie for you to watch this weekend.
