This particular version of The Three Stooges Scrapbook was quite a disappointment
This was originally a TV pilot meant to be shown on network prime time but the three regular TV networks that existed at the time only wanted to show it on late night so it was no go. Eventually, some of it was used as part of the feature called The Three Stooges in Orbit with many of the scenes from this pilot shown in black and white instead of the color this one was shot in. Also, two shortened versions were released theatrically, this one that was all live-action, and the other one that had a cartoon of the Stooges with them providing their own voices. In this version, Moe, Larry, and Curly Joe are living in an apartment where there's no cooking allowed but Joe can't help himself. So after getting thrown out, they find an ad from a crazed scientist for borders and he's allowing cooking and the first month's stay is free so the boys go! I'll stop there and just say this was pretty amusing if not hilarious especially with that laugh track all over the place. Since it stops before they go to the station for their TV show and the cartoon that was supposed to show, I was quite disappointed with this version. It's on YouTube if you're curious about all things Stooges...
