Storyline

With spin doctors ery much in the spotlight of late, this TV adaption of the BBC radio series could hardly have picked a better time to rear its head. The show centres around the workings of Prentiss McCabe, a PR agency whose offices play host to a succession of minor celebrities, politicians and high-up businessmen who all need photo-shoots arranging and soundbites composing. Ethics are not a priority; the firm's staff will lie, cheat and possibly steal as long as it makes their clients look good. Written by Richard Smeltzer

Another hit British series finally!
1 January 2008 | by tdk1147See all my reviews

Excellent series, really witty and the Stephen Fry is sensational. If only I could be as brilliantly deceptive as his character - he's a morally challenged rogue but so lovable!

Only two things that bug me are:

1. Alison is just too stupid and I'm not sure she can pull it off sometimes (acting wise); and 2. Colin, the Australian press secretary at Downing Street, has a terrible Australian accent. It's more like a New Zealand one.

Eg, the little shut (instead of the little sh*t).

But still really looking forward to series three this year!
