Filmed at the Kanawaki Golf Club outside Montreal, Quebec. The producers had the white clubhouse painted yellow for the film. Members liked the change so much they kept the color after filming.

Factual error: In the sequence after 3 Rounds, it was announced that Ouimet was behind Vardon and Ryan by one stroke. In the real sequence of events in 1913, all 3 golfers were tied after the 3rd Round.
