Need rescue (vhs)

Well, at this point, the show has lost its interest: I have taped only 6 episodes (27%) and honestly, they are not convincing: first of all, there are too many lifeguards (13) so nobody can have the focus and every one is reduced to small actions. The newcomers are disappointing: Electra hasn't the simplicity of Pam and her dance sessions in every episode are just boring! April and Mannie are true Baywatch characters (straight and helpful) but they can't do or say much as viewed before. All the episodes i watched were rather action oriented and inner tension about the team (the rookie, the captain...). I didn't find the social compassion, eccentric comedy i used to find in the earlier season. I pick this 2nd episode as my not worst this year because it shows what April and Manny could have done if they had been given the opportunity!
