Storyline

Clifford overhears Mr. Bleakman say that feeding him must cost a lot of money. A carnival act called "Larry's Amazing Animals" has just been in town, and the animals in the show told Clifford about an animal contest with a prize of a lifetime supply of Tummy Yummies. So he decides to run away along with Cleo and T-Bone, join the carnival act, win the contest, and bring the food back. Soon Clifford is the star of the show, and Shackleford the ferret, who'd always been the star, gets jealous. Clifford just wants to help and win the contest -- but getting back home to Emily Elizabeth may not be as easy as he thinks, even after the contest is over. Written by Sarah Elisabeth

Trivia

This was the last animated movie for Warner Bros. Pictures to be hand-drawn animated, as the studio has been producing computer animated movies up until the release of Teen Titans Go! To the Movies (2018), which would be their next hand-drawn animated movie to be released in theaters. Both Clifford's Really Big Movie (2004) and Teen Titans Go! To the Movies (2018) released in the same year as a film in Pixar's The Incredibles franchise, being The Incredibles (2004) and Incredibles 2 (2018), respectively. See more »

Very Good and Sweet
28 April 2004 | by dreamriver1See all my reviews

I took my two boys 4 and 7 to see it and I thought it was so sweet. The same kindness that is protrayed in the television show was just as loving and thoughtful. It was a nice reminder of John Ritter and that his voice lives on.....The characters were the same as the tv show and it is very believable for the kids to see the movie and relate it to the show. The Man that took care of the animals was equally fair and kind to the animals which made the kids believe the animals matter. In all from beginning to end the movie was entertaining and creative story line and held my two small boys attention.
