One of WWE's final pay-per-views in the United Kingdom, took place in Manchester, England on October 26, 2002 at the Manchester Evening News Arena. Opening the show was Stephanie McMahon, proudly presenting the first Smackdown-only pay-per-view. Next RAW's Booker T appeared for one night only at the Smackdown-only show, to take on Matt Hardy. Next came the next chapter of the Torrie Wilson/Dawn Marie feud, in the form of a mixed tag team match with Billy Kidman as Torrie's partner and John Cena as Dawn's partner. Next was an interview with Edge, who talked about his dream of becoming the WWE Champion after it was announced he would face the Champion Brock Lesnar. The third match came in the form of Smackdown's #1 Announcer Funaki, taking on the multi-time former Hardcore Champion Crash. Did You Know?
This was the first ever pay-per-view exclusive to the SmackDown brand. Although, there was one exception in that Booker T, a Raw superstar at the time was allowed to fight Matt Hardy. The Raw brand had their part of the deal done previously by having Triple H, a then-SmackDown superstar, fight on their pay-per-view WWE Insurrextion earlier that year. See more
