Noel in the movies

Phillip Dye's documentary "Hollywood from Christmas" was a nice reminder of how this festive occasion was presented for all movie fans throughout the beginning of time. Mr. Dye and his collaborators present us with famous scenes from films in which Christmas is prominently showcased.

There are recent films as well as old ones. The stars that appear in the many film clips range from Tim Allen to Loretta Young, so the range of stars and situations are evenly distributed. Some of the material selected for this film is familiar. Christmas has always been a happy holiday to celebrate because it brings families together in a serene and peaceful background. There is a cozy feeling watching this documentary on a cold winter night.

This documentary is recommended for people that love to see the way Hollywood deals with this particular holiday.
