Storyline

In the world of the Ninja, skill plays only a small role in determining one's rank. Kageru is strong, fast and extremely intelligent-the best in his class. However, his birth predestines him to the lower class of Shinobi. His friend Aoi finds herself in the same situation, and together they will be forced to question not only themselves but also some of the most sacred edicts of the Shinobi hierarchy. Because of this, a choice must be made; will they choose to follow their mission as dictated by the Law of Shinobi or break the age-old code and change their destinies? Written by SkiSchool2

class struggle vs destiny
23 January 2010 | by disdressed12See all my reviews

basically,the Shinobi are the lowest of the low in the ninja class and are essentially considered cannon fodder and sent on the most dangerous missions that missions that higher classes will not go on.they are disposable and expendable,and they live to serve their masters.they are born into this class,and no matter how skilled they are,can not rise to a higher class,so are destined to die in that class.the events in the movie take place hundreds of years ago and focus on one particular fighter and his struggles with his destiny nd and obeying the law of the land.i enjoyed the film.though there is one disturbing rape scene.otherwise,i thought the movie was well done.it's fairly short at about 75 minutes.there are two options of viewing the film,one with Japanese language and English Subtitles,or dubbed English.i picked English subtitles.anyway,for me,Shinobi:The Law of Shinobi is an 8/10
