This documentary follows the 2002 mayoral campaign in Newark, New Jersey in which a City Councilman, Cory Booker, attempted to unseat longtime mayor Sharpe James.

Did You Know?
The film ends with Cory Booker planning his run for mayor in 2006 and Sharpe James still undecided as to whether he will run for re-election. As it turns out, James decided to retire and Booker won the 2006 election. In 2008, James was convicted of five counts of fraud by a federal jury and was sentenced to 27 months in prison. See more
