The show typically consists of JR directing the show on location, usually in someone's house or a very odd / unique location. He then plays various clips of him doing comedy segments in various locations, and also shows clips from his early years of trying to produce a television show. There are also dramatic comedy portions, where we catch a glimpse at the behind the scenes world of television production, and see well known actors and musicians speaking off-the-cuff. JR also likes to include a telemarketer call in the credits, where he pulls pranks on the telemarketers that call him and tapes it on video.Written by
This High School Student Video Project Should Not be on TV
This show is just awful and I seriously believe that the only way it could be on TV is if JR Digs is buying this air time from Global TV in order to make his own show. They have Coors Light as an advertiser but there weren't any other ads that I saw during the episode tonight so it really looks to me like they got Coors Light to either cover completely or to at least help them pay to buy this air time. It would also explain why this show is on so late at night around other paid-for-advertising "programs" not to mention how a show like this could get on the air at all. The quality of the show is awful, they use bad effects in a desperate attempt to be funny but it just makes it more obvious how poorly written and produced this "show" is. I can't believe it's on the air again and can only hope that Coors Light wakes up and stops paying for this crap to be aired on TV, JR Digs is one of the worst hosts and "shows" I have ever seen. Nothing good or funny about this show, just one guy's painfully bad attempt to have his own show that he somehow--possibly at gunpoint?--got somebody to actually put on TV.
