Trivia

The two-seat sports car that Clark Kent is seen driving in this and other episodes of the second season is a Nash-Healey; a joint venture between Nash-Kelvinator and the British automaker Donald Healey in the early fifties. Sporting an Italian-made Pininfarina body, the Nash-Healey was the first American-made sports car post World War II. With a cost of about $6,000 it's amazing that Clark Kent could afford one on a reporter's salary. See more »

Goofs

When alone in the assistant's room, Kent (Superman) searches all the drawers and shuffles the contents. This seems unnecessary for someone who has x-ray vision and only has to look. See more »

A Really Bad Night Club Act
1 February 2015 | by HitchcocSee all my reviews

A group of organized burglars, one called the Phantom Burglar, have hit some high profile marks, stealing many valuables. Lois and Jimmy try to apprehend the burglar but lose him. It becomes obvious that they are connected to a mind reader's act at a nightclub. Apparently, during the show, keys are taken momentarily and a cast is made, making it a cinch to rob their houses or apartments. Playing contrary to Clark's and Perry's wishes, the pair go to the nightclub to set up these people. In a hysterical scene, Jimmy pretends to be a rich Latin man. He ends up dancing the tango with one of the crooks (not the guy, by the way). They go back to their hotel room and wait for the phantom burglar. Unfortunately, though they get the jump on the actual thief but are surprised by the other two and held at gunpoint. Now what do they do? Perhaps Superman will participate. Ya think!
