Powerful story
30 November 2015 | by searchanddestroy-1See all my reviews

This will be the last episode of this show I will comment. The last but certainly not the least, concerning the quality of the story. Here again you have powerful performances, and without clichés, as such we found in THE UNTOUCHABLES for instance. Here again we have the same kind of quality as in TARGET THE CORRUPTORS. Not a gangster movie but a noir drama, with a Robert Culp highlight in the performance, and not only him but Bruce Gordon as well. And the latest is not a pure gangster - Frank Nitti like - but a ruthless businessman who cheats the law and whose the daughter is a desperate young woman who eventually finds death. And Bob Culp is the girl's boyfriend.

A tragedy set in a terrific atmosphere and a perfect, flawless actors directing by Tommy Gries.
