A very, very weak episode...
13 April 2017 | by MartinHaferSee all my reviews

I think my score of 4 might just be a bit generous. But I certainly did not love the show...mostly because practically every cop and detective show (such as "Hawaii Five-O" and "Mannix") had boxing episodes where suddenly the characters love boxing and know everyone in the boxing world...though it never was mentioned before or after! It was overused so much that I dare call it a cliché.

When the show begins, an up and coming prize fighter is in a bar when a crazed, mouthy older man comes up to him and begins bad- mouthing him. No biggie. But then the older guy slugs the young boxer...and, instinctively, the young guy slugs him back...and the older guy seems to be dead!! So, it's up to Cannon (who is completely out of his element here) to come to the rescue and figure out what really is happening here.

This episode has one too many improbable and ridiculous plot twist. It also seemed weird and difficult to understand why Cannon would be involved in all this...as well as how Cannon could beat the crap out of one recently retired boxers! Pretty lame.
