When a toymaker has a few close calls, he calls Charlie who then has the girls on it. Sabrina pretends to be the daughter of a foreign toymaker who wants to go into business with the toymaker. Gordon, one of the toymaker's designers, wants to make toys that are a bit eerie and hopes that Sabrina can help him. Later a man breaks into the toymaker's office and gets killed. So the girls try to find out who he is and they learn he works for one of the toymaker's competitors who wants his new designs.
The agency is hired by Charlie's old friend, Leland Swinnterton, the fifty year owner of Mother Goose Toys which has never produced a game of violence or promoting violence. He had been approached by the law firm Dunson and Wheeler to sell the company to an unspecified buyer, the firm which has among it clients underworld figures using bought companies as fronts for criminal activities. Refusing to sell, Leland and the company have been plagued by one problem after another, which cannot be coincidental. In investigating, the Angels and Bosley believe that the unspecified buyer is businessman and crime boss Tony Phelan. And although Leland does not want to believe that any of his employees may be working against him, the Angels and Bosley believe there is an inside person, the most likely candidate being Gordon Roclair, the vice-president of design who wants to move the company into more violent toys. The Angels and Bosley hope to work Phelan and Roclair against each other using their own tools against them. What may cause the Angels some problems is a young woman named Donna, a person peripheral to the goings-on but who will sell whatever information she has on hand to the highest bidder.
- Leland Swinnerton, better known as Mother Goose, is president of The Mother Goose Toy Company that someone is trying to sabotage. Sabrina and Kelly go undercover to sabotage the saboteurs while Kris and Bosley follow close behind. An imperiled toy manufacturer hires Sabrina, Kelly and Kris for protection. When Leland Swinnerton refuses to sell his Mother Goose Toy company to a rival toy maker, he is besieged by a series of accidents, including an exploding toy train. The Angels soon discover that the man behind the threats is an ex-mobster working in collusion with one of Swinnerton's own employees.
