A young Lesley Gore
28 May 2019 | by tr-83495See all my reviews

Interesting to see a young Lesley Gore singing one of her "poorer" Mercury releases from 1966. She was still in college, and obviously had no acting training, but the value of this show rests on a rather mundane TV performance from the woman who would take her massive teenage fandom ("It's My Party" to "California Nights") and turn it into the powerhouse she became in the 70s before writing for "Fame" and other movies.
