Storyline

Lucard gets sick after drinking blood from a young thief and sends for Dr Gabor Varney (Sam Malkin), doctor to the vampires, who diagnoses poisoning due to an antigen in the thief's blood. The cure is zylastrium, a compound found only in the waters of Paquette spring in the Vettage Valley. Thinking that this might be their time to pounce, Helsing and Max follow the dying Lucard to the springs but they are stopped from staking him when Varney shows up. Lucard drinks from the spring but finds that the water has been polluted by chemicals from one of his factories. Varney then gives Lucard some purfied water from the same spring, and Lucard recovers. Meanwhile, Sophie has become enamored with a young existentialist named Vincent (Michael De Sadeleer) that she met at the Cafe des Artists. Jealous, Chris finally admits to Sophie that he has feelings for her, but it may be too late. Vincent is the young thief, now a vampire, and Vincent has turned Sophie into a vampire, too.
