New Year's 2000 is approaching, and Spooner Street is preparing for a big holiday bash. When Peter hears about the impending disaster of Y2K, however, he panics and locks the family in the basement. His fears turn out to be well-founded when the world's computer systems go haywire and civilization is destroyed by atomic blasts.
