Kees might have a very dangerous virus and the whole family (including Sjakie, who happened to be visiting the family) have to stay indoors for the next twenty-four hours.
Did You Know?
The ending of this episode implied Sjakie has succumbed to the virus. Since this was the last episode, it sparked a debate between fans whether Sjakie really died or not and if this meant he wouldn't have returned of the show had been continued. In 2017, a fan asked creator Dick Maas
whether the Flodders would have had to continue without Sjakie protecting them from the council. Maas confirmed Sjakie's off-screen death in the episode, but also said that this wouldn't have stopped the writers from "resurrecting" the character, comparing this to Grandpa Flodder's off-screen death in Flodder
(1986) which was ignored for the series. See more
